Many truths (Poem)

Does humour have gender? Does politics?
Is it wrong to stereotype? Is it okay being opportunistic?
Playing with my heart is exploitation too,
Pitting me against my fellow man makes me a gladiator, true.
When does my habit start hurting you?
And at what point your beliefs stifle me?
My truth could well be different from yours.
What’s right by you, could be my agony’s source.
Accepting the other, for whatever they may be,
In the end, that’s what sets us free.
