About Me

Hello and thank you for visiting my website!

I am Avik.

I’m an AI and Agentic AI Solutions Consultant with a keen interest in technology and its ability to transform society for the better (If you would like to know more about my professional journey, please visit my LinkedIn profile – link below!)

I was born in Durgapur, a town located in the eastern part of India in Bengal. It was in this steel township where I spent the early part of my life. After finishing with my schooldays, I did my Bachelors in (electronics and communication) technology. Right after my graduation, I decided to pursue my post-graduation studies in business management at XLRI Jamshedpur (incidentally, another steel township – kind of makes me the boy of steel!) where my areas of focus were Marketing and Operations. Following this began my professional journey spanning Marketing, Alliance Management, Presales, and Solution Consulting across AI, Agentic AI, ERP, and BPM platforms and services.

At present, I live in and work out of Bengaluru.

And, if you haven’t guessed by now, literature, poetry and cinema are second only to oxygen for me!

Over the past decade, I have developed an interest in and love for wildlife, and that has gifted me some of the best days of my life. Visit my Instagram page (link below) if you would like to check out some of my wildlife experiences (though I tend to be possessive about my most favourite moments and keep those to myself!)

Enjoy reading through and let me know your take. Thanks for reading!

  • The Wait (poem)
Don’t take the pain away, I pray Lest I forget how bad it had hurt, Just give me a song if you can So it doesn’t sting so hard.   Don’t take those memories away Lest I forget to mind the gap, Just give me a fairytale where the hero Can leap coolly across the... […]
